MICHAEL MESITI

My name is Michael Mesiti and I was the former manager of Ebony Empire. I am now a principle educator in Hong Kong. Ebony Empire stands for a salon of luxury and professional stylists, a place for hairdressers and stylist to achieve the high standards that our industry needs.

I had the privilege of being asked to manage and grow a salon from a person that had a vision of a high end luxury salon in Townsville!
Amanda Roth had a vision that came to become a reality! A hairdresser and educator that has passion for an industry that I have been a part of for over 30years.

Amanda created a space that was opulent and when it opened the guests that came to our salon agreed. Thank you Amanda for the opportunity to become a part of your dream!

BIANCA BUSATTO

I've worked for Amanda since February 2018, in this time I've worked at both her salons Remy Hair and Ebony Empire.

Amanda has always been passionate about making her team the best they can be by providing myself and the others with lots of training. She is a very caring and approachable boss that goes above and beyond to make her team happy.

She has created 2 wonderful salons that really are a pleasure to work at. The other staff members are a friendly, welcoming, bunch of people and we have wonderful clients!

Amanda our boss is always upskilling us with courses she organises, giving us opportunities to grow in an industry that is always changing. I do and always have felt extremely lucky to be able to work in a friendly environment with great management who always look after us.

Although my time at Ebony Empire has been short thus far compared to the previous salon I was employed at, it feels like I’ve known my coworkers forever.

With transparency encouraged between employees you can speak your mind and clear the air without any fuss or talking behind each other’s backs. I started with Ebony Empire from the very beginning. While with the company, I have been offered the opportunity to finish my diploma of beauty therapy and gain many skills including top of the line MicroTape Remy Hair Extensions, lash extensions and much more.

With a very motivated owner we are always presented with great opportunities to attend workshops and hands on courses with in the salon. We have new top of the range equipment provided to us, as well as your own trolley fully stocked with everything you could ever need. While being with the company I have been on maternity leave and returned, welcomed with open arms and a very flexible work schedule to have a happy home and work life. With Ebony Empire I feel more like family then an employee.

MALLORY DIDO

I started my career in one of the best private school of Hairdressing in France in 2005.

As soon as I was fully qualified I decided to travel to learn new skills around the world (France/Spain/Belgium/Australia) challenging myself in divers competitions. From apprentice to manager to salon owner, I’ve experienced many different aspects of what this industry has to offer.

Today I am one of the head barbers at EBONY EMPIRE in Townsville. From day one I felt at the right place, the atmosphere, the team and the range of product are amazing. I am also really proud to say that we are provide the highest quality services and this makes the place a very special place to me. I love working at Ebony Empire because we are giving the highest quality services to our guests!
